A Shared Prayer
Dear God,
As I look at my life, it is difficult to see your plan. I see failures and imperfections. I see paths that I should have taken, and paths that I should have avoided. What I see doesn't look like a perfect plan.
Yet, I know that you have a perfect plan, Father. You have given me this earth. You have given me breath. You have surrounded me with people and opportunities.
Help me to see your plan all around me. Help me to remember that your Son died for me, to release me from sin and death. Fill my heart and mind with this remembrance, as I go about my daily routine. Let it be a pillar for me.
I do not ask to see all things. But, give me a vision for the future that is better than the vision I have had in the past. Help me to take life more slowly, and take opportunities more quickly.
Show me the way to walk in your plan, I pray in Jesus name, Amen.
